“We share the same life.”
Ömer Çam 16.04.2026
“The child in my arms is my relative’s daughter. She lost her father, and her mother has to work. So now I take care of her.
In our home, only my father has a steady job. My siblings sometimes go out for daily work. This is how we try to get by.
Everyone supports one another as much as they can. When the Qurbani meat arrives tomorrow, we will share it again. We will set some aside for our neighbors too. We do this every year.
Because here, no one is alone. We share the same table, and the same life.”
