A fire occurred on Sunday night in Camp No. 5, Cox's Bazaar, South Bangladesh, which is home to the world's largest refugee camp. The number of houses partially or completely burned reached 1,200; as a result, nearly 7,000 Rohingya Muslims were left homeless.

These Rohingya Muslims are currently living with no roof over their heads amidst the cold weather, while many families require various forms of humanitarian assistance, including food, hygiene products, clothing, and blankets.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation’s initiatives provides support for firefighting operations and facilitates the relocation of those affected by the fire to safe areas through its partner organizations in the region. We have also launched an emergency aid campaign to help the fire victims.

The first phase of the campaign will cover the provision of hot meals to 2,000 families and the provision of blankets and clothing to 1,393 families.
