The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation continues helping orphans in different countries worldwide. It is extending a hand to orphans through establishing orphan centers and orphanages in many countries.
The IHH is helping orphans staying with their relatives in countries where there are no orphanages. Azerbaijan is one of these countries.
Orphans gratified over IHH help
Chechen refugees living in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku are regularly donated financial aid. Monthly allowances of 227 Chechen orphans for June and July were handed in. Apart from orphans, Chechen families who migrated to Azerbaijan because of the war in Chechnya are also living in harsh conditions. The IHH helped 120 Chechen families that have refugee status in Baku with their rent.
Baku thanks Turkey
In addition to helping Chechen orphans, the local Selam Association was also granted financial aid. The association provides rehabilitation services to the people who were made crippled during the Russian-Chechen war.
Orphans, Chechen refugees and the Selam Association were pleased over the IHH aid. Baku-based Chechen refugees thanked the IHH and the benevolent Turkish people.
