Helping hand for 8 thousand families in Turkey's southeast

Aid trucks prepared under a campaign with Memur-Sen, Hak-Is, IHH and Kizilay have reached Diyarbakir.
Memur-Sen chairman Ali Yalcin, Memur-Sen board members, Memur-Sen Diyarbakir provincial representative and several NGO's met the trucks at Diyarbakir Yeniyol. Aid packages unloaded from the 10 trucks were distributed to families in need at Sur, Cizre and Nusaybin.
Memur-Sen chairman Ali Yalcin who met the trucks at Diyarbakir Yeniyol said "We all need to strive together for a future which leads to brotherhood, equality and peace. Because we come from a culture based on solidarity, helping and sharing."
Visiting homes
The delegation also visited homes in Diyarbakir and listened to the problems of the people.
