IHH Targets 1 Million for Syria in Ramadan
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation aims to deliver Ramadan aid to one million people in different parts of Syria.

The crisis in Syria continues over the part six years. Civilians are harmed most in this process. According to the official numbers over 400.000 civilians lost their lives. Relief organizations cannot reach to over 1.5 million people living in over 20 places across the country who have no access to basic human needs. Especially children, women and the elderly try to survive under life threatening conditions.

IHH that has been reaching out to the civilians since the civil war broke out continues to work to give some hope to them. Therefore IHH will not let poor Syrians alone during the month of Ramadan and geared to deliver aid to 1 million people.

"We want our brothers have meals with a smile”

IHH Syria Aid Work Antioch Office press representative Selim Tosun said their goal is to let Syrian families cherish Ramadan.

Tosun said IHH was going to hand out food, hygiene kit, bread and food hampers for iftar in different areas in the country. "We have been working relentlessly in order to let people have some respite from war through our caravan of goodwill. During Ramadan we would like our Syrian brothers and especially orphans and widows have a smile at their tables to break their fast” he said.

Tosun pointed out that they were going to deliver aid to 1.000.000 civilians in Syria. "A safe passage for humanitarian relief aid will be opened in certain areas under siege and attack during Ramadan. So we will try to be a light of hope to those people who cannot meet even the simples of human needs due to war” he said.
