IHH and DIGNITÉ International Completed the "Digital Solutions in Humanitarian Aid" Project
The "Digital Solutions In Humanitarian Aid" project, funded by the European Union (Erasmus+) and run by IHH and its French partner DIGNITÉ International, has been completed.
03.07.2025

In the project, four main activities were carried out — two in Türkiye and two in France. In the initial segment of the project, DIGNITÉ International’s digital tools for donation and financial management were examined, followed by presentation by the İHH Digital Platforms team about the Foundation’s various digital methods.

In the second activity, İHH's national disaster response system, which relies on its extensive volunteer network in Türkiye, was contrasted with DIGNITÉ International’s approach which focuses on international crises. Additionally, participants visited DIGNITÉ’s "Dignité Market" social market model that was established to combat poverty.

The third and fourth activities of the project were held in Türkiye. The DIGNITÉ International team visited İHH's Emre Yerli Disaster Management and Logistics Center in Tuzla. Participants also attended a disaster awareness training jointly-organized by İHH and AFAD, providing insights into Türkiye’s disaster preparedness processes and İHH’s disaster response capacity.

Finally, in the Humanitarian Aid Workshop, the current state of humanitarian aid and digitalization were discussed in depth. Both organizations also evaluated the experiences shared throughout the project and held discussions on potential future collaborations.

IHH’s Press Statement Regarding the Attack that Martyred Its 5 Staff in Gaza
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation held a press conference regarding the attack carried out by the occupying Israeli forces in Gaza, which resulted in the martyrdom of its five personnel. At the conference, IHH President Bülent Yıldırım said that “Since October 7, 2023, 11 of our colleagues have been martyred. However, the highest number of martyrs in a single incident occurred in this latest attack. The vehicle was deliberately targeted. Their goal is to block humanitarian aid. Israel must not think that it can hit a Turkish organization and the Turks won’t react. On Sunday at 2:00 PM, let’s organize such a powerful protest from Fatih Mosque to Hagia Sophia Mosque that its voice can be heard all the way to Tel Aviv.”
