Opinion leaders and representatives from 65 non-governmental organizations held a consultation meeting at IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation headquarters on Thursday to discuss the latest developments in Gaza and Syria.

IHH President Atty. Bülent Yıldırım was the host of this important meeting.

Participants of the meeting discussed the latest developments in Gaza and Syria and exchanged views about what to do in these conflict-hit regions.

At the meeting where participants exchanged views on a wide range of issues, an agreement was reached to have a common discourse, take joint action and carry out joint and more effective relief efforts for these regions.

The participants of the meeting voiced their determination for “common consultation,” “common practice” and “sustainability of stability in effective relief efforts” in these regions.

In addition, they highlighted the importance of understanding the incidents in Gaza and Syria correctly and giving credit to authentic information and reliable news sources.
