Our aid trucks arrive in Iraq
IHH aid trucks, which were prepared with the aid of international partners (Bahrain Islah, Kuwait Kavafil, English Ummah, Help South Africa, Qatar Raf, Qatar Aid Charity Foundation), have arrived in the Iraqi city of Dahok.
Iraq, Turkey 09.07.2014

The trucks are carrying aid for refugees that are concentrated 2.5 hours away in the Sincar district of Dahok. The aid will also be distributed in Kirkuk, Erbil and surrounding villages and towns where the refugees are based.

Our IHH teams will distribute the aid packets those in need in Sincar and Kirkuk on Monday.

Thanking Turkey

The Iraqi Turkmen Solidarity and Progressive Foundation president Emin Terzi expressed his thanks to the Turkish people and IHH for their help. Terzi also explained that the help will be given to the Kerkuk families in desperate need, and the food packets will be given with regard to the food report. Terzi said that the KRG officials would support the distribution of aid.
