IHH Qurbani Aid Team, who performed Qurbani slaughterings in the Comoros, an island nation off the eastern coast of Africa, also visited the orphanages in the country. They carried out various humanitarian activities in the Comoran capital Moroni and provided aid in cash to orphans and to an orphanage with 126-child capacity.
In addition to dinner organization and activities like a tour to the open ocean with the orphans, IHH team paid visits to a number of national authorities and received information on the local needs.

More than 300 shopkeepers donate one day’s earnings to Gaza
More than 300 shopkeepers in Istanbul’s Sarıyer district will donate today’s earnings to Gaza through the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation. Speaking at the press conference organized for the aid campaign, Yasin Çalışkan, a member of the IHH Sarıyer District Executive Board, said: “More than 300 of our shopkeepers in Sarıyer’s İstinye, Pınar, Ferahevler and Yeniköy neighborhoods have decided to donate today’s earnings to Gaza. With the event titled ‘My Earnings Turn into Goodness in Gaza,’ our shopkeepers are both taking on an important responsibility and creating social awareness by donating their income to Gaza.”

IHH Provides Winter Aid to Thousands in Türkiye
IHH has conducted humanitarian aid efforts in many cities across Türkiye as part of its winter aid initiatives. As part of these efforts, fuel support of 2,000 TL per household was provided to 1,000 families, and boots and jackets were distributed to 2,567 children in need.
