Within the scope of the campaign ¨Each class has an orphan fellow” started by IHH with the support of Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs Administration, 15 orphans have been supported by some students in Konya, Turkey.
Students in Ibrahim Ethem Imam Hatip High School in Meram district gave a helping hand to 15 orphans with their allowance.
The head of Konya IHH-AYDER Orphan Care Department Hidayet Yilmaz said in a statement that they aimed to raise sensible individuals with the project of ¨Each class has an orphan fellow”.
Saying that they founded a brotherhood bridge from one side of the world to the other side in order to spread goodness, Yilmaz added that ¨It makes us happy that our children care for the problems of their brothers standing away from selfishness. That they make this kind of sacrifice moves us. And it shows us that the project is a right deed. We thank to all the students supporting the project¨
The head of Ibrahim Ethem Imam Hatip High School Abdullah Kocak mentioned that they would continue to support the project as far as they can.
