Pupils want end to Gaza strikes
Istanbul's Çınar College students who are funding two Gazan orphans from their allowances are concerned about the fate of orphans. The pupils urged an end to the Israeli operation.

A group of students from Çınar College joined the grievance over the latest developments in the Gaza Strip. They have undertaken to meet spending of orphans Ela Talyiys and Abdullah Omar from a Gazan refugee camp as part of the orphan campaign organized by the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation.

The pupils have been regularly meeting needs of the two orphans for five months with their allowances. They have not met the orphans, but know them from the pictures and concerned about the latest Israeli strikes on Gaza.

"We have heard the orphans are in need of food. Their school has been hit in the attacks. We were happy to have been helping them, but we are sad about their situation. We are calling on Israel to stop fighting our brothers and sisters in Gaza," classroom president Zehra Yıldırım said

Çınar College students are praying for the safety of their orphan Palestinian brother and sister.
