Orphan relief department of the Sakarya Humanitarian Aid Foundation, which comprises of IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation volunteers, organized summer activities for orphans and young aid volunteers following the beginning of the summer recess.
The one-month-long summer program, which began on June 18 with the participation of 65 girls and boys, was concluded with a picnic near the Poyrazlar Lake on July 13.
Sakarya orphans enjoyed a program which was filled with educational and recreational activities for five days a week throughout a month. They had also trips and picnics.
As part of the program, the students were offered courses on Quran, fundamental religious principles, life of Prophet Muhammad, history of the prophets and lives of prominent religious figures. Participation in the program was free and food and transportation services for the students was provided by the Sakarya İHH. Having completed a joyful and educatory program, it was possible to see the happiness of the students on their faces.
