Since April 15, 2023, internal conflicts have been ongoing in Sudan. 25 million people, including 14 million children, are in need of humanitarian assistance. Due to food shortages, millions of children are at risk of death.

IHH and the Kuwaiti organization KSR sent a humanitarian aid ship containing 150 containers to Sudan. The ship carries shelter, food, and hygiene supplies.

Speaking at the send-off ceremony, KSR General Manager Abdulaziz Al Abyed said, “First of all, I would like to emphasize that our assistance will continue without discrimination based on religion, language, or race. These aid efforts have been organized in cooperation with IHH. We would like to thank both our government and our people for their support of this organization. Additionally, we extend our thanks to the Republic of Türkiye officials, the Sudanese government, and IHH for their support in enabling this ship to depart from Türkiye.”
