10 Aid Containers Shipped from Pakistan to Syria
Khubaib Foundation, IHH’s partner organization in Pakistan shipped 10 containers of aid to Turkey as a result of the aid campaign it has launched recently.

Khubaib Foundation, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation’s partner organization in Pakistan recently launched a charity campaign for Syria.

Khubaib Foundation, which is operating in Pakistan, has collected 10 containers of humanitarian relief supplies for victims of the Syrian war.

In conjunction with the charity campaign launched across Pakistan 6 containers of aid supplies from Karachi and one container of aid supplies from Islamabad, Lahor, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi each were shipped to Turkey. The ships carrying the humanitarian relief supplies loaded in Pakistan decked in the port in Mersin which will then be transported to Syria. The supplies contain towels, clothes, blankets, rice and medical surgery equipment.

Islamabad deputy mayor Choudry Riffat Javed and Khubaib Foundation officials Shihul Islam, Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani have attended the ceremony to send off the ships in Islamabad.

New Aid Campaign Launched

On top of that various campaigns that will serve to help set up and run a bakery in Syria, to sponsor the rent fees of houses of widows, full loan to needy families to set up businesses, to sponsor the monthly expenses of orphanages.

While the IHH Search and Rescue Teams pulled 2,934 deceased and injured people from the rubble, emergency aid volunteers delivered support to hundreds of thousands of people in many different areas.

IHH is at the earthquake zone with a 3,359 person team
Search and rescue efforts continue in the areas affected by the earthquake. 65 search and rescue teams of IHH, consisting of 1447 people, are working together with 2 search and rescue dogs. IHH also continues its aid efforts in other ways such as providing food, shelter and clothing through an emergency aid distribution team consisting of 1728 people. IHH Chairman Bülent Yıldırım, Executive Board Members and 184 coordination officers are also in the earthquake area.
