With the support of Al-Amal a Saudi Arabian organization, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has left to Syria with 11 trucks full of humanitarian aid that has been collected under the campaign "Winter Is Here Now Is The Time."

Before the trucks departed a ceremony was held at IHH's Reyhanlı Logistics Centre. IHH Syrian Aid Coordinator Muhammet Yorgancıoğlu spoke at the ceremony and thanked all of the aid organizations who have shown support since the beginning of the events in Syria.

Yorgancıoğlu stated that the Syrian women, children and the elderly are abandoned to live their own fate and the contribution during this period holds great importance and said that, "The situation in Syria is deplorable.I would like to thank everyone who rushed to help the oppressed in Syria regardless of which point of Turkey and the world they are from. After this as IHH we will continue to support the Syrians."

What's inside them?

After the speeches, the 11 truck convoy containing aid worth 4.5 million TL which contains flour, blankets, clothes and legumes departed for Syria from the Cilvegozu border in the Reyhanlı district.

Where will they be distributed?

The aid for Syria will be distributed to the needy families in the rural areas, Damascus, Aleppo, Hama, Homs and Idlib. The supplies sent will be distributed by IHH teams who are in Syria.

Al-Amal's 93 truck contribution

Under the campaign "Winter Is Here Now Is The Time" launched by IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation 43 trucks have entered Syria through the border gates located in Cilvegözü, Reyhanlı and Oncupinar, Kilis. With the 93 truck contribution that Al-Amal has made for the campaign, another 50 trucks will be sent with a ceremony organized in the up-coming days.
