Orphan girls staying at the İstanbul Orphanage in Ache have purchased new clothes for the Eid al-Fitr with their gift cards given to them by the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation.

The gift cards were given to the orphans at a ceremony which was attended by Ache Deputy Governor Abu İlliza Saaduddin Djamal. Djamal said he became very happy over seeing the joy of children who bought new clothes on the eve of the Eid al-Fitr while he voiced his appreciation for the Turkish charity givers who extended a helping hand to Acehnese orphans from thousands of kilometers away.

The ceremony was also attended by a representative from one of the stores that supported the campaign. The representative said he was very happy to be with the orphans as presented the children with their gift cards, which enabled the orphans to make shopping for the Eid al-Fitr.

A total of 3,333 orphans across Indonesia felt the joy of the upcoming Eid thanks to the joint efforts of the IHH and its partner in the region, PKPU.
