Medical reports issued by a health team over the condition of the orphan girls revealed that the girls are in good health and do not suffer any health problems.

The orphanage complex which was constructed on an area of 5,000 square-meters in Banda Aceh was inaugurated with an official ceremony on 23 November 2006. It is comprised of nine blocs. The orphanage is of crucial importance for the region which is suffering from many problems.

As orphans receive education at the orphanage, they are also cared for their health. The circumstances of the orphanage are always kept in supervision to ensure that they are in line with health rules and regular health screenings are offered to the orphan girls.

After the health screenings, a seminar was held at the orphanage’s conference hall during which doctors gave information to the orphans about general healthcare rules and ways to avoid contracting epidemics.

There are currently 86 girls residing at the 100-bed capacity orphanage where all needs of the orphans are met. Children receive education here in addition taking religious courses on Quran, hadith and Islamic law.

There is a computer lab, a library, a masjid and playgrounds in the orphanage. The students are encouraged to take part in social and cultural activities.
