Aid to Lebanon from IHH
IHH teams as part of the 2014 Ramadan campaign, have begun helping the Palestinian and Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
Lubnan 25.06.2014
With the Israeli occupation, almost 500,000 Palestinian refugees are trying to survive.

There are a total of 12 Palestinian refugees camps and in these camps, a large proportion of them are those who have been born in Lebanon and have never seen Palestine. There are generations of refugees living the life of a refugee.

The Palestinian refugees have no civil rights. They are not allowed to work in 72 different occupations and are refused property ownership.

As well as Turkey and Jordan, Lebanon also is a country that has taken many refugees and nearly 2 million Syrians are living in Lebanon. In particular in areas like Damascus and Humus, many of those who have escaped are living in tents or in tent cities provided by other aid agencies.

IHH is continuing its support and aid to the Palestinian and Syrian refugees in Lebanon. As part of the 2014 campaign, the IHH teams have begun their aid at the Palestinian camp of Burc El Berecne.

In the first stage, they have distributed rice, flour, oil and other food packs, in a total of 50 containers. Those who have received their packs, thanked and sent their prayers to those who have helped.

Iftar for 850 people

In the areas of Talabay and Bar Ilyas, located in the Beka Valley, 850 refugees in camps were given iftar and a container of aid was distributed to 213 families.
