While the IHH Search and Rescue Teams pulled 2,934 deceased and injured people from the rubble, emergency aid volunteers delivered support to hundreds of thousands of people in many different areas.

Search and rescue efforts continue in the areas affected by the earthquake. 65 search and rescue teams of IHH, consisting of 1447 people, are working together with 2 search and rescue dogs. IHH also continues its aid efforts in other ways such as providing food, shelter and clothing through an emergency aid distribution team consisting of 1728 people. IHH Chairman Bülent Yıldırım, Executive Board Members and 184 coordination officers are also in the earthquake area.
