In addition to performing sacrificial slaughters in 10 regions countrywide, the IHH delivered dried food to poor families and clothes to war-victim orphans staying in orphanages.

The foundation has carried out social aid works in Afghan cities such as Kabul, Jalalabad, Ghazni, Kandahar, Takhar, Kunduz and Balkh as well as in districts, villages and refugee camps. Afghan authorities and people appreciated aid works.

Aid delivery in refugee camps where mainly war victims live gained admiration of the locals. Locals said they hadn’t eaten meat for several months and had almost forgotten smell of meat expressing their thanks to the people of Turkey.

The mobile soup kitchen dispatched by the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation to Ukraine, which is under Russian bombardment, departed from Istanbul. The soup kitchen was intended to provide food to 30,000 people each day. In addition, three truckloads of humanitarian supplies provided to Ukraine by the IHH in recent weeks have been delivered to war victims.
