A seven-member aid team from the AL-Imdaad Foundation which has branches in various countries travelled to Turkey. The aid team, which included aid workers from the foundation’s branches in South Africa and the UK, delivered tents, blankets and food to quake victims in the region to alleviate their suffering.

AL-Imdaad Foundation had launched an aid campaign for Van in its branches in South Africa, Australia, Indonesia, UK and Jordan in the aftermath of the powerful quake which hit the province last October.

The aid team from the AL-Imdaad Foundation also paid a visit to the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation where both foundations agreed to develop joint projects for other regions in need of aid.
