Bangladesh 13.12.2021

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation provides the needs in terms of care, education, healthcare, food and shelter for 121.439 orphans in 50 countries including Turkey on a monthly basis. In addition, our foundation distributes periodical aid to 1 million orphans in 120 countries annually. To date, in order to support and educate these orphaned children in a spiritually, mentally and physically healthy environment without separating them from their own homeland and culture, IHH has opened 40 orphanages and 2 education centers in 13 countries.

48 orphans will be hosted

As part of our efforts for orphans, recently we just opened the Atila Orhan Orphanage for Girls in Khulna region’s Bargerhat city in Bangladesh. This two-story orphanage contains 9 dormitories, 1 dining room, 1 large multi-purpose hall, 7 washrooms, 1 tutor’s room and 1 principal room.

Thanks to our donors, the Atila Orhan Orphanage for Girls will accommodate 48 female students, and our other orphanages will continue to be a home for children with a similar situation.

To give support

Donors that want to support our orphanage projects can donate 5 TL by sending an SMS to 3072 via all operators texting the code ORPHANAGE. Those that wish to donate larger amounts can contribute online via IHH’s website or IHH’s bank accounts stating the code ORPHANAGE.
