Ankara Human Rights and Service Association and IHH volunteers in the city of Ankara hosted 20 orphans coming from Gaza. The orphans were taken on a city tour and were given clothes. They arrived in Turkey the previous weekend and will be attending cultural events in a number of cities.

The volunteers clothed 100 orphans for the upcoming Islamic holiday as part of “Put a Smile on Face of 100 Orphans” campaign they started in Ramadan. The volunteers also organized iftar dinner for orphans from Gaza, Afghanistan, Somalia and Ankara. One hundred and forty orphans attended the dinner at Altınpark Rıhtım Restaurant. The orphans were entertained by clowns and balloons, and were given presents.

IHH’s Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation continues its aid efforts in Gaza, which has been under bombardment by the occupying Israeli forces. Since October 7, we have provided support in the areas of food, shelter, hygiene, and health to hundreds of thousands of people. IHH and UN carried Cash aid project for families in Syria

With the Syria Cross-Border Humanitarian Fund (SCHF) of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, IHH provided cash aid to 1,150 families living in the Racu region of Afrin, Syria, between December 2023 and March 2024, with a total of $296,465 in cash support.

A humanitarian aid ship prepared jointly by IHH and Kuwait Society for Relief has set sail from Mersin Port with 907 tons of various aid for the people of Gaza.
