The Bahraini delegation attended a seminar at the IHH headquarters where IHH deputy chairman Murat Yılmaz and IHH International Affairs Coordinator İzzet Şahin made presentations. The seminar began with an introduction of the IHH and informed the participants about the foundation’s activities in Turkey and abroad in addition to its activities for international relations and human rights issues.

IHH President Bülent Yıldırım presented a miniature of Masjid al-Aqsa to Al Sheikh at the end of the program. Yıldırım also voiced his wish to carry out joint work with Bahraini officials in order for people to lead a dignified life in the world. At the closing session, al Sheikh said he pledges God’s mercy for the people who sacrificed their lives on the Mavi Marmara for the Palestinian cause and offered his thanks to Turkish people for the sensitivity they show for Palestine.
