Batman Protests Against Israel
BEY-DER, a local NGO in South Eastern Turkish city of Batman, held a meeting to protest IHH’s West Bank Representative Izzet Sahin’s unfair arrest by Israel.
Palestine, MiddleEast, Turkey 08.05.2010

BEY-DER (Batman Association For Education and Solidarity) made a press statement in order to protest against Izzet Sahin’s arrest. In the press release, Turkish government has been called to act firmly against the arrest. The statement said “It is now obvious that Israel’s policy of fear and violence conducted in Palestine since 1948, is now being imposed onto the whole region, in fact onto the whole world. It is clear that this act of Israel can be attributed to their aim of intimidating IHH because of the “Palestine Our Route, Humanitarian Aid Our Load” campaign. None of Israeli attempts will stop IHH from arriving in Palestine. IHH is determined to break the embargo on Palestine.”
