IHH has already begun to visit orphans in Turkey and abroad on the occasion of Orphan Solidarity Days. The foundation will implement a total of 120 projects on the occasion of this event as part of which it will reach out to 25,000 orphans across 31 provinces in Turkey and 36 regions and countries in the world.

IHH teams do not neglect to take some candies and delights to the orphans they visit. Gift boxes prepared for orphans days ago also include specially-designed boxes of candy and delights.

A total of 5,000 packages of delight, 1,000 packages of chocolate and candy which were prepared by the volunteers of the Faruk Aktaş Orphan Support Center in İstanbul’s Başakşehir neighborhood are sent to the orphans with the aid teams who make the visits. The packaging of 500 kilograms of delight was also made by the Başakşehir aid volunteers and the members of the IHH’s Youth and Children’s Club.

Gift packages which are sent to orphans also include various toys, specially-designed T-shirts, hairpins and ornaments.
