Hasan stated, "Today, the freedom flotilla, with the participation of hundreds of individuals from many countries, is preparing to set sail again with thousands of tons of humanitarian aid. And the most important call within this mission is for a ceasefire to be achieved in the region."
Humanitarian Aid must be delivered to Gaza safely.
Torstein Dahle from FFC Norway said, "After the genocide and massacre that has been ongoing in the region for the past six months, humanitarian aid needs to be delivered to Gaza. As a civilian movement, we appreciate for the actions taken by various governments, especially the Turkish government. All states, including Türkiye, should deliver aid to the region safely in accordance with the decision of the International Criminal Court and ensure a ceasefire in the region."
The flotilla is prepared to sail with the support of millions of people.
Huwaida Araf from Us Boat to Gaza stated, "We are angry at the American government for doing nothing so far and for collaborating with Israel. The Freedom Flotilla Movement, with the support of millions of people, has prepared to sail on this journey due to the silence and inaction in the face of the massacre that has been taking place in Gaza over the past six months. I want the Palestinian people to know that they are not alone."
Answering questions from journalists after the press conference, Ann Wright from Us Boat to Gaza said, "Preparations are ongoing, and we will sail. We will let you know for exactly when the date will be. It will be very soon..
