The mobile kitchen trailer of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation carries on its journey across Turkey. The third destination of the trailer was central Anatolian city of Çorum. The kitchen was set up at the Cumhuriyet square where 2,000 Muslims were given hot iftar dinners. Food packs were also distributed to families in need of help.   

Food aid deliveries continue

The month of Ramadan, an opportunity for friendship and fraternity, gathering together and solidarity, is being practiced in Turkey and all over the world in accordance with its spirit.

Food pack distributions to destitute families also continue. IHH aid workers visit designated families in a number of provinces and hand out food packages.  A total number of 25,500 packs will have been distributed by the end of Ramadan.

You can donate a food pack to a needy family with 60 Turkish liras (TL), offer an iftar dinner with TL 5, clothe an orphan with TL 70, and give a stationery set to a poor orphan or student with TL 25. A small amount of aid can change a lot for orphans, the poor, and the homeless.
