UN Syrian representative visits IHH
UN Deputy Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for the Syrian Crisis Mark Cutts made a courtesy visit to the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation General Headquarters.

Cutts made the visit in his capacity as the coordinator of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Humanitarian Aid Operations for Syria. Cutts was welcomed by IHH General Secretary Durmuş Aydın, IHH Deputy Secretary Hasan Aynacı, IHH Board Member İzzet Şahin and IHH International Coordination Representative Zübeyir Berk.

In the visit, IHH representatives presented Cutts with information regarding IHH’s projects in Syria and other countries. On behalf of the United Nations Cutts stated his admiration at IHH’s continuing humanitarian aid efforts in the region. Speaking about the importance of coordination, Cutts also emphasized the importance of supporting the Syrian people in the most honorable and humane way. Additionally, Cutts also hoped that the UN can work in greater coordination with our foundation in the future.
