Food and hygiene packet aid for the homeless
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation delivered food and hygiene packets to 240 unemployed, orphaned and homeless families living in the Spanish cities of Valencia, Madrid and Barcelona.

IHH distributed food and hygiene packets to families that are suffering due to the coronavirus pandemic in Spain as one of the country’s most affected by the covid-19 pandemic.

The food packets meet the monthly needs of a family of four. The food packets contain 5lt cooking oil, 1kg olives, 5 kg flour, 5kg semolina, 12lt milk, 24 eggs, 3kg dried legumes, rice, macaroni, salt, sugar, tinned tuna fish, tomato puree, tea and coffee.

The pandemic will worsen

The increase in the new cases and death figures from the Covid-19 in Spain is continuing. The number of deaths from Covid-19 in the country has reached 75.459 and the total number of cases has exceeded 3.284.000.

As a part of IHH’s healthcare efforts, we also distributed hygiene packets containing cleaning materials, disinfectants and 5 masks to each Spanish people in need.
