Certain regions of Somalia have not received any rain for three years. The struggle to get access to water is an important part of Somali people’s fight for survival since they have to traverse thousands of miles to reach water. Aid workers of the IHH Humanitarian are taking water in water tanks to refugee camps where water is scarce.
The IHH distributed two tanks of water at Nasiya camp in the south of Mogadishu to meet local need. Each family in the camp received about 40 liters of water.
