Syria 25.12.2013

IHH distributed a truck load humanitarian aid materials containing food packages (provisions), olive, hygiene kits for children and various winter clothes.

Making a statement related to the issue, Şanlıurfa the Head of IHH Humanitarian Aid Association Behçet Atila remarked that from the first day of the war they have continued to make humanitarian aid activities continuously to the full extent of their power. He said “Especially women, children and the old were affected much from this long lasting war. Millions of people have become refugees. Some of them have moved to another place inside Syria where they regard as more reliable. Some of them have moved to nearby countries. As IHH, we make humanitarian aid activities in nearly all regions and districts of Syria.”

Remarking that “As IHH, we never differentiate between any regions”. Atila, also added,
“We help to all oppressed and aggrieved people wherever they are without looking their language, nation and region. One of those regions is Kobani district where Syrian Kurdish people live. We have brought humanitarian aid to about 300 very oppressed families in Kobani in recent days. Inshallah, we will continue to help the aggrieved people here as long as aid materials reach to us. We thank to all benefactors. They should continue to help in an unyielding manner. They should often empathize with these people.”
