From Bosnia to Somalia
Bosnia-Herzegovina Solidarity Association delivered aid to Somali people living in the Dadaab refugee camp on the Somalia-Kenya border through IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation which is carrying out

In addition to emergency works against the drought crisis, IHH has been carrying out long-term projects in Somalia for 15 years. The foundation is also helping various non-governmental organizations to deliver the donations they received for Somalia. One of these organizations is Bosnia-Herzegovina Solidarity Association. Visiting IHH headquarter, President of Bosnia-Herzegovina Solidarity Association Zemira Gorinjac presented the donation, received by Bosnia people, to IHH.

Establishing a camp for the people who had to flee from their homes due to drought and took refuge at Kenyan border, IHH is delivering the donations of the charity givers to Somali people. President of the Bosnian Solidarity Association Zemira Groinjac joined IHH teams to distribute the relief supplies donated by Bosnian people. Visiting the Somali people in the region along with IHH teams, Gorinjac conveyed the greetings of Bosnians to Somalis.

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation is carrying out activities in earthquake zones with 5,852 search and rescue workers and aid volunteers. While the IHH Search and Rescue Teams pulled 2,934 deceased and injured people from the rubble, emergency aid volunteers delivered support to hundreds of thousands of people in many different areas.

IHH is at the earthquake zone with a 3,359 person team
Search and rescue efforts continue in the areas affected by the earthquake. 65 search and rescue teams of IHH, consisting of 1447 people, are working together with 2 search and rescue dogs. IHH also continues its aid efforts in other ways such as providing food, shelter and clothing through an emergency aid distribution team consisting of 1728 people. IHH Chairman Bülent Yıldırım, Executive Board Members and 184 coordination officers are also in the earthquake area.
