Gazze was welcomed by the IHH aid teams in the region.

The ship was sent to the country on Aug. 21 thanks to donations from Turkish people who have not remained indifferent to the tragedy in drought-stricken Somalia.

Gazze took a total of 3,000 tons of aid supplies to Somalia which included food supplies such as flour, sugar, baby formula, rice, corn, pasta, milk powder in addition to medical supplies and medicine.

The ship, which arrived in Mogadishu after passing through the Suez Channel, is expected to meet the needs of thousands of people in need.

The second humanitarian aid ship sent to Somalia is still on its way to the country, carrying a total of 6,000 tons of aid supplies.
