In Gaza where the population of orphans has reached 12 thousand, IHH meeting food, clothes and healthcare needs of children, carrying out many projects in the direction of their education. Within the scope of these education projects, in the Ottoman Culture Center that was opened in 2009, Gazan girls are given courses as needlecraft, Islamic law, and memorization of Qur'an. Authorities of the culture center giving great importance to the computer and English education for the young who study at the high school and university, allocated the new classroom opened with the contributions of Anatolian Humanitarian Relief Association (AYDER) for the orphans in order to make these orphans make use of these opportunities.

In this special classroom, additional courses are given to the orphans who are at the second and third grade of high school in order to help their school courses. These is also a computer course for the orphans who are older than 15.

Mehmet Kaya, IHH Gaza Representative said "We have been working for Gazan children in Gaza Ottoman Culture Center for five years. But we had to see after the orphans separately. If we don't take them by the hand, they are really left orphans. Thinking of this, we allocated the hall which AYDER assigned for the orphans. We think that we can communicate with orphans directly in this way".
