IHH soup kitchen set up in Bingöl
The IHH mobile kitchen offered iftar dinner to 1,500 people in Bingöl. Needy families in the city were given food packs. The next destination of the trailer is Siirt and Diyarbakır.

Mobile kitchen trailer of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation was in the city of Bingöl after following through Sinop, Samsun, Çorum, Tokat, Sivas, Erzincan, Van and Tatvan.  

Set up inside the municipality iftar tent, the soup kitchen offered iftar meals to 1,500 residents. Needy families were also given food packs.

Senior public officials also attended the mass fast-breaking dinner.

Local citizens were offered a menu of rice, roasting, dessert, water and bread.

Hayri Bolat, IHH executive board member who came to the city along with the trailer, said the mobile kitchen trailer would continue its journey and added “The mobile kitchen is in Bingöl, one of the stops on its route. We offered iftar dinner to 1,500 citizens. The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation is an 18-year old establishment with projects and accomplishments in 110 countries. We will be travelling from Bingöl to the city of Siirt and from there to Diyarbakır on Sunday, Allah willing.”   

The IHH mobile kitchen will offer iftar meals to 65,000 people in 26 cities across Turkey.

Ships are ready, the Freedom Flotilla sail towards Gaza!
Bülent Yıldırım, the President of the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), inspected two purchased ships for the International Freedom Flotilla. Yıldırım stated, "This cargo ship has a capacity of 5,500 tons and its name is Anadolu. It will carry our country's aid and compassion to Gaza. The name of other ship is Vicdan (Conscience). This ship will accommodate conscientious activists from around the world and deliver the conscience of the world to the shores of Gaza."
