IHH distributed food and blankets to 5.000 war victim families living in the refugee camps in the rural areas of Idlib, Syria.
IHH Media Representative for Syrian Operations Selim Tosun said that the food packets and 10.000 blankets were distributed for refugees living in the refugee camps.
Explaining that IHH continues to support Syrian civilians where the war is ongoing, Tosun said, “We are making every effort possible to enable life in Syria to return to normal in every aspect. Our aim is to bring a ray of hope to the people in the region by constructing homes, schools, healthcare centers, factories, water wells and many other permanent works.”
Tosun, who explained that they were supporting the civilians living in the camps by distributing basic aid provisions on a regular basis, continued:
“During these last days of winter, we continue to help families in need in terms of basic needs for survival. In this regard, our teams distributed 5.000 food packets and 10.000 blankets to families living in camps in the Idlib region of Syria. Almost 5.000 families benefitted from this aid distribution.”
Tosun added that IHH’s aid efforts in Syria would continue.
