IHH and TTK teams save three survivors from rubble
Rescue teams from IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises (TTK) jointly saved three quake victims from rubble in Van’s Erciş district which was hit by a powerful earthquak

IHH teams continue search and rescue efforts in the quake region.

IHH and TTK teams saved a 15-year-old girl, Tuba Altunkaynak, and a 65-year-old man, Mehmet Köroğlu, from the wreckage of a building on the Alkanat Street in Erciş. Several hours after this, the teams saved a 12-year-old girl, Nazan Altunışık, from the rubble. The saving of three quake victims following hours from the quake gave hopes about the rescue of other victims while leading to a great joy in the region.

Altunkaynak and Köroğlu were taken to Erciş State Hospital for treatment. IHH teams which have totally 200 members continue their efforts in the region at full speed.

While the IHH Search and Rescue Teams pulled 2,934 deceased and injured people from the rubble, emergency aid volunteers delivered support to hundreds of thousands of people in many different areas.

IHH is at the earthquake zone with a 3,359 person team
Search and rescue efforts continue in the areas affected by the earthquake. 65 search and rescue teams of IHH, consisting of 1447 people, are working together with 2 search and rescue dogs. IHH also continues its aid efforts in other ways such as providing food, shelter and clothing through an emergency aid distribution team consisting of 1728 people. IHH Chairman Bülent Yıldırım, Executive Board Members and 184 coordination officers are also in the earthquake area.
