Mobile kitchen trailer in Şanlıurfa
The IHH mobile kitchen was set up in Şanlıurfa where it offered mass fast-breaking meals to 3,000 residents.

Set out on its journey across Turkey to share the blessing of Ramadan with citizens the kitchen trailer arrived its next destination, southeastern the city of Şanlıurfa. The soup kitchen was set up inside the historic quarter of the city which houses the cave Prophet Ayyub (Job) underwent his ordeal in and Ayyub Peygamber Mosque. The dinner tables were set inside the mosque’s courtyard.  

Local MP Müfit Yetkin and representatives of local non-governmental organizations attended iftar dinner. The organization drew a turnout of 3,000 residents. Speaking before fast-breaking time, IHH Şanlıurfa Representative Behçet Atilla said “We distributed food packs to 250 needy families in the city and 100 in Siverek and Viranşehir districts each; clothes to 116 orphans; stationery sets to 100 orphan students. And we are now offering iftar meals to 3,000 people. We will try to carry on such charity works with an increased pace.”

Mobile soup kitchen from Turkey to Ukraine
The mobile soup kitchen dispatched by the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation to Ukraine, which is under Russian bombardment, departed from Istanbul. The soup kitchen was intended to provide food to 30,000 people each day. In addition, three truckloads of humanitarian supplies provided to Ukraine by the IHH in recent weeks have been delivered to war victims.
