IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, is continuing their aid since day one of the conflict on a regular basis for the people who have become refugees due to the developments in Iraq.

The crisis that has started in Iraq due to the invasion of Mosul by ISIS is affecting the Kurdish and Turkmen regions negatively.

Due to the conflict, people from Mosul and Turkmen regions that seeked refuge in Iraq's Erbil, Dahon, Sincar and Sulaymaniyah regions are facing many difficulties. With the events that started in Baghdad and Anbar the local community left their homes and started to seek refuge in North Iraq and Kirkuk, this led to problems such as settlement, food and clothing which has reached remarkable levels.

Distributions to Arab, Kurd and Turkmen refugees continue

Food and clothing supplies were distributed to the public who are seeking refuge in Erbil Kevirgos, Sulaymaniyah Germev and Zemmur Dahon camps that are located in Iraqi Kurdistan.

Forced to leave the places they live, around 10 thousand Iraqi families that have taken refuge in North Iraq and Kirkuk are being aided by IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation who is providing food supplies to the Arab, Kurd and Turkmen community. With the contribution of Turkmen Brotherhood Association in Kirkurk and the Rabita Islamiyya Kurde Association in North Iraq, IHH continues to deliver aid.
