IHH is continuing its aid efforts for civilians living in Ayn al-Arab due to the ongoing conflicts in Syria and harsh winter conditions. Following the declaration of a ceasefire after the clashes, a humanitarian aid corridor to Ayn al-Arab was opened on 26 January. As part of the efforts carried out in cooperation with the Aleppo Governorate and civil society organisations, the foundation delivered 6 lorries of humanitarian aid supplies and 10,000 packets of bread in the first stage. The lorries sent to the region carried clothes, blankets, nappies, food parcels, hygiene kits and foam mattresses for children. IHH is delivering aid to areas that are difficult to reach by boat via the Euphrates River.
Our work continues under difficult conditions
Yusuf Tunç, IHH Syria Operations Coordinator, said in a statement regarding the aid provided, "As a foundation, our work in Kobani (Ayn al-Arab) continues under difficult conditions. We are delivering aid to Kobani via the Euphrates River using these boats. We are sending humanitarian aid supplies to the villages there. As we do everywhere in the world, we will continue to stand by the people of Kobani without distinction of language, religion or culture. We thank our donors for their support."

The foundation continues its aid efforts in the region.
