Syria 20.01.2015

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation is continuing to aid those living in Eastern Ghouta. Within this context, they provided winter aid to 8 thousand 250 Syrian orphan families.

Within the scope of winter aid, IHH provided food parcels, winter boots, wood and heaters to orphans and orphan families living in Syria's Eastern Ghouta region.

Regime soldiers have surrounded the Eastern Ghouta region and are not allowing the entrance of aid. The aid which is provided to this region is generally forced in illegally, and is distributed under very tough circumstances. The arrival of winter and harsh winter conditions are making life more difficult for them.

Many deaths are occurring in the Eastern Ghouta region due to the harsh winter conditions. Previously, IHH provided 600,000 TL worth of aid to this region. In addition, IHH previously provided winter aid to 3 thousand 700 children in the same region.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation is continuing to provide humanitarian aid to those living in this region. However, they are focusing on aiding orphans in particular.
