IHH aid packages were last delivered to Arakanese refugees in Kuruskal region of Bangla Bazar and Khuliapara region of Cox’s Bazar. IHH continues to deliver relief to the new comers of the refugee camps in Bangladesh in particular.

Aid packages delivered by IHH emergency aid coordinator Recep Güzel and his team include nylon canvas, kitchen utensils, plates (3 pieces), pots and pans, spoons (4 pieces), Durable rug, milk powder (3 packages, a flour-like local substance), Baby biscuits, a local clothing for children, shirt (local style), undershirt, bucket, pillow (2 pieces), three pieces for women and soap (2 pieces).

Güzel said the IHH gives priority to deliver multi-purpose aid packages to new Arakanese refugees, adding: “Thanks to support from charity givers in Turkey and across the world, we will continue to deliver aid packages, which we prepared according to the needs of our brothers and sisters here, in addition to providing them financial assistance. There are thousands of families which own nothing. We will increase the amount of aid we provide to our sisters and brothers who fled Arakan and sought shelter in Bangladesh.”
