More than 20 thousand people have lost their lives in the civil war in Sudan that has been going on since April 15, 2023, while more than 25 million people are in need of aid. Due to the ongoing conflicts, 12 million people had to migrate. While 9 million people migrated within the country, 3 million people migrated outside the country. IHH has sent 204 containers of aid supplies to the region since the war started on April 15, 2023. Of these aid supplies, 161 containers were delivered in 2024. While 150 of these containers were sent by the Goodness Ship that set off in September, 7 containers were sent by AFAD organization. In addition to these, 4 containers of bread wheat seeds were sent. The distribution of the aids delivered to Sudan continues. 2 million 304 thousand 891 people will benefit from the distribution of aid supplies. The aids include food, clothing, shelter, cleaning supplies and agricultural products.

Humanitarian aid supplies sent: Cash support to 1,435 people, 49,246 units of food aid, 80,640 kilograms of meat distribution, 243,076 units of clothing distribution, 33,696 blankets, 77,538 packages of hygiene pads, 155,600 kilograms of flour, 144,846 liters of oil, 11,083 diapers for children and adults, 91.292 pieces of slippers, 82,656 packages of dishwashing detergent, 261,976 packages of pasta, 23,476 pieces of canned tomato paste, 2,450 kilograms of chickpeas, 19,896 pairs of shoes, 38,920 pieces of laundry detergent, 17,071 carpets, 17,455 boxes of biscuits, 23,880 kilograms of dried beans, 22,380 kilograms of bulgur, 22.032 canned tuna, 825 kilograms of green lentils, 4,992 jams, 125 patient covers, 707 pillows, 24 quilts, 3,808 mats, 73,668 instant soups, 50,840 kilograms of red lentils, 64,000 kilograms of rice, 1,008 roll mattresses, 12.960 shampoos, 843 sponge mattresses, 5,299 packages of halva, 3,400 tarpaulins, 3,245 tents, 153,926 packages of vermicelli, 124,295 kitchen utensils, 96,000 kilograms of bread wheat seed, and 444,624 hot meals were distributed in the region.
