IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has carried out emergency relief activities in Tanzania in the wake of floods which have recently hit the country.
Tanzania 04.01.2012

There were floodings in the rivers of Darussalam due to heavy rains starting on Dec. 21. The floods claimed the lives of 38 people and led to 5,000 people to be displaced from their homes.

IHH teams in the region delivered food items including rice, sugar, beans, flour and water to 670 flood-stricken families in Uhuru, Ilala and Mchikichini regions.
