IHH, Humanitarian Relief Foundation started aid activities in earthquake- hit Indonesia. IHH teams started urgently to deliver food materials to the victim families in the earthquake- hit Panadg city

IHH, Humanitarian Relief Foundation started aid activities in earthquake- hit Indonesia. IHH teams after a long journey reached the Panadg city hit by earthquake. The moment they arrived at Panadg city,IHH teams determining the families in need started to deliver the emergency food materials. Families whose houses were damaged by the earthquake were distributed aid.

IHH teams made examinations in the Pariyaman city that the earthquake had happened as well. IHH’s Indonesia Representative Mesut Olgun coordinating the aid said “ According to the offcial numbers 505 people died, 323 heavily injured, 2500 lightly injured. 303 people are lost. More than 50 thousands of houses were damaged. But it is stated that the situation is worse. We started to deliver our aid. Initially we distributed the emergency food materials. Depending on the situation, in addition to the food in our next works we can deliver blankets and tents. Indonesians are waiting for the support of our charitable people”.

IHH Continues Emergency Aid Efforts in Bangladesh
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation continues its emergency aid efforts in Bangladesh following the floods that have affected 5.6 million people. So far, we have provided hot meals to 18,000 people and distributed food packages and dry goods to 500 families. Additionally, our set up mobile clinic is providing health services to 200 people daily.
