IHH teams are in Nepal
IHH team which traveled to Nepal following the 7.9 magnitude earthquake that struck the country continues their humanitarian work.

IHH team which traveled to Nepal following the 7.9 magnitude earthquake that struck the country continues their humanitarian work.
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation that helps the people around the world regardless of faith, race and language started humanitarian work in Nepal within 24 hours after the earthquake. The emergency team of 17 aid workers including 2 MDs are currently in the field. From day one they have engaged in rescue and debris removal. They are trying to get to the people trapped under the debris in Baktapurda which is 15 km. off the capital Kathmandu.
In addition to emergency aid work, IHH team evaluated the situation in the region. They have reported that the mostly needed items are food, shelter, pain killers, antibiotics and stretchers.
Moreover, the professional rescue teams are needed in the region as amateur teams are trying to rescue the surviving ones under the debris.
