Israel, which has been continuing its indiscriminate attacks in Gaza since October 7, also prevents
humanitarian aid from entering the enclave. The apartheid regime targeted mosques, hospitals,
schools and civilian settlements including refugee camps, leaving hundreds of thousands of people in
the city facing starvation.
Daily iftar for 48 thousand
IHH has intensified its humanitarian aid efforts in Gaza since October 7. We have been distributing
iftar meals to 48,000 people every day since the beginning of Ramadan, in collaboration with the
WFP.
Works are in progress
According to the recently published data of the International Coordination Mechanism for Food
Security Sector, IHH ranked third among the organizations that distribute hot meals and bread on a
daily basis in Gaza. The foundation continues its work in the war-stricken region without
interruption.
