The civil war in Sudan, which began in April 2023, has caused a major humanitarian crisis in the country. Thousands of people have lost their lives due to the conflict, while millions have been forced to flee the country. Since the war began, the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has continued to stand by the Sudanese people.
“We have delivered 333 containers of aid.”
Kasım Aktağ of the IHH Media Unit said in a statement that aid activities for the region have continued uninterrupted since the war began: 'We have continued to stand by the Sudanese people since the start of the civil war. The war, which began in April 2023, has caused major migration crises, deaths, massacres, and blockades. As a foundation, we have continued our activities in the region throughout this time. So far, we have delivered 333 containers of aid materials to the Sudanese people with the ships we have sent.'

Twelve trucks have come from Tuzla and one from Mersin.
Aktağ continued, "Today, we are loading 12 trucks of aid supplies onto a ship organised in coordination with AFAD from our logistics centre in Tuzla. This aid includes various kitchen utensils as well as shelter equipment. In addition, we will provide support for the AFAD-coordinated ship with one lorry from Mersin.

IHH continues its humanitarian aid efforts in the region to meet the basic needs of war victims in Sudan.
