The IHH continues relief efforts in Libya at full speed. IHH teams were divided into two in the region. While one group carries out relief efforts at the ground zero at the Libyan-Tunisian border, the other group continues relief efforts in Benghazi where the public unrest first began.
After treating the injured, the doctors will perform medical screenings in the region. Distribution of milk powder and formula which will be taken to Libya on a truck from Egypt along with the doctors will be immediately launched by the IHH teams.
The IHH teams, which are in Benghazi, continue emergency relief efforts in the region. In their latest effort, they distributed food to around 1.000 workers, majority of who were Africans, who took shelter in a Turkish building site. The IHH teams also distributed clothing to 50 orphans and provided financial assistance to 100 very poor families in the Dar Younus neighborhood in Benghazi.
